Health & Safety Training CoursesA safe, healthy work environment is any employer's responsibility. CIEH Level 2 Certificate in Health and Safety in the Workplace Training CourseThis course is for all employees. It is equally relevant for those working in the manufacturing, commerce, public sector or service industries.The training consists of the following units: · Health and Safety at Work · Health and Safety Law · Welfare · The Workplace and Work Equipment · Risk Assessment · Manual Handling · Hazardous Substances · Ergonomics and Workstation Design · Working at Heights · Transport and Vehicles · Noise and Vibration CIEH Supervising Health and Safety in the Workplace Training CourseThis qualification will give understanding of health and safety responsibilities for those who supervise others at work - for example managers / team leaders, small business owners etc. In addition this qualification is an ideal development stage for those considering progression on to CIEH Advanced Certificate in Health and Safety.It is strongly recommended that students for the course and examination already have a good basic awareness of health and safety issues (ideally, gained from sitting the CIEH Foundation Certificate in Health & Safety). Participants will be instructed in setting, supervising and maintaining good standards in Health & Safety at work. The training programme consists of the following units: · Concept of Health and Safety · Accidents in the Workplace · Health in the Workplace · Legal Provisions · Health and Safety organisation and Management · Supervising Health and Safety This is a tutor led, 3 ½ day course, supported by a 300 page student reference book. The qualification is awarded following successful completion of a multiple choice examination. |
